Two trips to the frontline in 10 days and almost one and a half million hryvnias in aid

From late July to early August, we made two trips east – to the Slobozhanshchyna and Donetsk region.

As always, we delivered drones worth over half a million UAH to the military.

We also handed over three vehicles – one thanks to our partnership with Norway. Special thanks to Ms. Elizabeth and the community of the University of Oslo. The second, importantly, came from our recent fundraising “Toyota Hilux for the Special Forces group”. Thank you for helping us close that campaign so quickly!

In addition, preparing, repairing, and servicing all vehicles is covered by fundraising from our foundation’s community. That’s why we’re sincerely grateful to everyone who has donated and continues to donate to our vehicle collections. These are the right investments in Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

We also delivered over 1,500 smoothbore cartridges and two smoothbore shotguns – one for a Special Unit (details withheld), and the other for the soldiers of the 24th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the trips, there were some unforeseen difficulties, as we were unable to pick up all the vehicles at once.

“Both trips involved a tow truck and bringing vehicles back from the frontline to Lviv for repairs. We’ll be handling one of the repairs ourselves, while our friends from a partner volunteer community will take care of another,” notes Yuriy Tanasiychuk, head of the April Foundation.

In total, together with the vehicles, we delivered and handed over technical equipment and aid worth 1.4 million UAH across the two trips. “This is the result of our joint work from mid-June to early August,” emphasizes Yuriy.

Finally, our foundation needs daily support from donors and patrons, because each completed trip means it’s already time to prepare for the next one.
