Children! Little children sing, perform and give away their savings to support their army! Preschoolers who don’t even know their country without war.
After all, the war did not start on February 24, no. It has been ongoing since 2014. And these children do not know a peaceful homeland yet.
Mature, not child-like these little children from “Malecha” kindergarten in Malechkovychi held a charity event “For a peaceful childhood”, together with their parents and friends. The program was diverse: there were performances by kindergarten children as well as other invited guests (also children); also a charity fair with goodies (prepared by the children’s parents) and a charity auction.
“They are so small, but already so conscious! The children had a clear understanding of what and why they were doing. And they did it in a very mature, responsible way. They performed, sang and participated in the fair”, – says Anna Kholiavka, the headmaster of kindergarten “Malecha”. – Other invited guests also participated in the event: the students of the Pustomyty School of Arts and 40 children from Lviv, under the age of ten, from the vocal and choreographic ensemble “Dzhura”, which was created in Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos.
And our 5-year-old Mark Dzyunko really impressed us! He came to the event with a big box. All his savings were in that box. Lots of coins, small bills. Really a lot. He handed over his box to the Armed Forced of Ukraine. We counted more than 6 thousand hryvnias!
A charity auction was being held simultaneously with the children’s performances and the fair.
Artist Asya Vyhovska put up her magical angels for auction, which she had made with her own hands from dried corn flowers. Work, talent, an interesting approach – and here is a result – 4.5 thousand UAH.
The craftswoman’s Tatiana Sloboda Horodyska’s brother is at war. He sent her a cartridge box from the front. She painted that box and her work was sold for UAH 9,000!”
What’s the result? – you might ask. In total, 82,000 UAH was collected from all the auction sales, goodies sales and other contributions.
“In our parent group chat we messaged that we are missing not much more in order to purchase three drones. And you know what? In 5 minutes, the parents donated enough for three!’, Ms. Anna adds.
And this is really a great result. After all, when planning this event, the organizers set the goal of raising funds for one drone. One. And they managed to get three!
“I want the children to live a happy, peaceful childhood,” concludes Anna Kholiavka. – That is why the event was named “For a Peaceful Childhood”. And we will name the drones “To the peaceful childhood”
Big thank you to the organizers, participants, children, their parents, guests, artists and everyone who does not stand aside!
And we remind you that anyone can become an ambassador and collect for a drone.
We wish a peaceful sky to the children! They truly deserve it!
