At the end of October, the “Malecha” kindergarten held an autumn charity fair – children, songs, and a warm-hearted fundraising initiative.
Just a day earlier, a kindergarten in Kharkiv had been struck by enemy fire. You have surely seen those images, and they likely hurt you as much as they did us. That is why, as Yuriy Tanasiychuk, head of the April Foundation, says, we must stand and fight – even with the help of a kindergarten. With the right people. For the right purpose.
An interim amount of 80,000 UAH was collected by the children, their parents, and the kindergarten staff to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The kindergarten’s fundraising campaign remains open. All funds will be directed specifically to the project “50 pickup trucks for the 93rd Brigade.”
Our partnership is long-term and stable. Previously, “Malecha” joined the “100 Drones” initiative, raising funds for three birds, which they named “For a Peaceful Childhood.”
We sincerely thank the children for their honesty and kindness, and the parents and educators for creating events that gather vital resources for Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
You, your institution, or your organisation can also become our ambassador – to stand shoulder to shoulder, to create real impact for strengthening Ukraine’s defenders, to fight and persevere with the right people and the right goal.
